Cannin Moments

With Cannin's birthday coming up soon :(....TEAR! I wanted to remind myself of a few things that I LOVE about him being 2.

-He has invented his own words.... Piki kah was his first, and when we asked him what it meant he says "I LOVE YOU!" How could your heart not melt. Everynight we whisper Piki Kah to each other. (Oct.)

-You pray all the time. It is so sweet and innocent to hear you talk to Jesus, and it's so simple but sometimes that's all it takes. Sometimes you will through in a few names and the puppies.

-You can now say your ABC's. (Nov)

-Mommy gave you your first haircut. ( Nov)

-You are such a sweet boy. You listen pretty well, but we are working on it.

-You love to help cook and with the chores!

These past 2 years have flown by. You are the light of my life, and I can't imagine what it would be like without you. You make Mommy and Daddy so proud. You always make us laugh, and to hear those little giggles makes my heart melt.

Halloween 2011

Halloween this year was so much fun...but by Monday we were Halloweened out! Cannin wanted nothing more to do with, and we had so much candy. Cannin is really big into Toy Story right now so of course we were Woody, but my little sherrif was the cutest!

We started Saturday night going to Halloween on the square in our little town. Cannin loved the firetrucks and cotton candy. This could explain why he was up till 10:30 that night. Ha. Sunday night our church had their second annual trunk or treat.

My mom set up her car with the theme Red, Yellow, Black, and White they are precious in His sight! It was adorable considering we did it in like an hour :)

We had a great time trick or treating. I have already put away all the Halloween decorations and am now working on fall and Christmas! We can't wait till after Thanksgiving to put out all our new decorations in our new house!

Worst Blogger Ever

And the award would have to go to me. It has been pure craziness around here. We have been redoing some things in our house, and I have started back to school! I'm trying to get better because I just don't have the time for scrapbooking anymore so this will serve as our scrapbook! This has been the coolest day we have had so far, and we LOVE it. I have all the windows open to air out, and Cannin and I have spent the day watching movies snuggling on the couch. He is napping now so I figured I would catch up a little. I booked his Christmas pictures today and am now on the search for our Christmas outfit. This boy is so into it this year. We were in Wal-Mart the other day and he saw a nativity he got so excited trying to tell me about that it was Jesus he couldn't even get it out. This of course is a proud mom moment when all the people around are awwing over him. He has such a sweet spirit. His prayers are so cute and sincere it brings tears to my eyes. To listen to his sweet voice sing Jesus Loves Me just brightens my day.

We are ready to watch game 7 tonight of the World Series and cheer on the Rangers!!!!

Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! It was pretty low key around here. We all worked then between basketball and zumba I think I saw the hubs about 9:00 :) Cannin got a special cookie and a Boris t-rex!

ICE!

This weekend we took Cannin to Dallas to see the popular ICE! display at the Gaylord Texan Hotel. We had so much fun. It was beautiful to see the hotel all decked out for Christmas. I didn't get to many pictures because they tell you to keep your camera covered most of the time. With it being 9 degrees in there it can mess up the lenses.This is right before you go in. Cannin also got to see Santa for the 1st time this year. He thank goodness didn't cry, but he was ready to go after a couple of minutes! They were getting ready to go down the ice slide! Cannin went all by himself....what a big boy I have!
This guy was so cool! All the lights were beautiful! I'm hoping for a family getaway there one day!
This was our last picture of the night...we were exhausted, and you see there is no Cannin...He was throwing a little fit in the bottom of the sleigh! HA!!! I would tell everyone to go check this out it is very cool!

Oh My Where has the time gone!

Oh my...It has been quite a while since I have had time to sit and blog! I better take full advantage while Cannin is taking a nap! There is so much to say that I am just at a loss for where to begin! I have added on everyday's to-do list to blog. I need to start keeping up with it a little better! We have taken Cannin on so many adventures the past few weeks! We started at the zoo...He loved it! He growled at every animal that he saw. May 23,2010 Dustin, myself, and our family stood before the church and had him dedicated to the Lord! It was such a special moment for our family. We had prayed so hard to be blessed with a little one, and I was so excited we were able to stand before everyone and hold our little boy!

Here is Cannin and his new friend Reece playing at the ball fields! These 2 played the entire time! I'm glad he has friends around his age here to play with!

Memorial day weekend the ladies had a getaway! We went to Louisiana to the 1st annual Bayou Country Superfest! We saw Justin Moore, Jake Owens, Jason Aldean, Brooks and Dunn, and Kenny Chesney! Talk about a good time.

I will work on some collages of new pictures to post I have so many! Until tomorrow...Hope everyone has a good one~

Quality Time

I haven't been posting lately because we have been trying to squeeze in as much quality time with our friends as we can! Amy and I have been cleaning our little tails off trying to finish up the house before our final inspection on Friday! Fingers crossed "the man" doesn't find anything :) This is how we spent the weekend...we had a great "going away" party with some of our dear friends. We went to eat at BD's Mongolian Grill...It was delish. If you ever get the chance to eat here do so! Sunday Ashton went to practice riding his dirt bike for his race next weekend so Owen stayed with Dustin and me. Cannin just loves this little man to death. He laughs so hard when they play. It's so cute!

We also got to go to a Wright State game in the middle of the week! Dustin braved it and watched all 6 kids by himself. :) We had a great time. We always do when us 3 get together!and to make it better We WON!!!!! So we went NUTZ.....HAHA

Moving Day

It's moving day around the Wedeking household...! We couldn't be more excited. I don't have any pictures to post. We have been just too busy running around trying to get things finished up. We are lucky enough to have some great friends that we are staying with until we make the big move to Texas :) Cannin has loved everything being in boxes. We find him climbing on top of the boxes and sitting. He gets so excited sitting up there like such a big boy! He has gotten so fast...he will be in the same room as you...turn around and he's gone!!! That makes for one tired momma at the end of the day LOL...Tomorrow the loading truck is coming to take our stuff to my parents! I'm sad to be moving out of this house, it has had a lot of first for us...I was told earlier today it may be your home...but there are many more memories to be made, and we will find us a house to make our home!

More Snow

We finally saw some relief as the snow started melting....and guess what??? About another 10 inches is on it's way. It has been snowing since early this morning, and we haven't seen a break yet! We had a fabulous time staying with the Winter Family this weekend! We didn't make it to the Wright State basketball game, but instead we went back home and scrapbooked! and the men folk and little boys played videogames! We had many laughs that brought tears...What am I talking about anytime we are all together all we do is laugh :) I'm trying my hardest to choke back some tears right now talking about all the good times we always have because early next month we will be moving. The movers will be here Thursday and Friday to get all of our stuff. It's sad to see our military chapter come to a close, but I'm glad this chapter is coming to an end. I'm not gonna miss the late night phone calls or the nights he's gone, but I will miss all of our dear friends! I guess I need to get back to packing up a few things...

Monday Madness

This was a great weekend...We all had so much fun! We spent some much needed time with great friends. I am sad to see it all come to an end as we venture off back to Texas! We have made some amazing friends here that we will never forget. I know I am blessed to have met each of them. These are people I know I will be friends with forever! I haven't had time to download new pictures from the superbowl party so here are a few older ones I haven't got to share yet! Cannin has become his such an independent little guy...I love it, but I hate that he already doesn't need me as much! LOL I know it's only gonna get worse, but man does it tug on those heart strings.

This is where he decided he wanted powdered donuts for breakfast...:) He now has 4 teeth and is pretty much running everywhere he goes! Today we met some of the ladies and went to our favorite store....HOBBY LOBBY! We shop there so much they should start knowing us by name...haha We had a good time laughing and just being our goofy selfs.

Snowed In

This is how we spent most of the morning because today we woke up to this gorgeous site! Starting yesterday about 11 we saw snow. This morning we had at least 6 inches on the ground. After breakfast we dressed the kids and headed out for some fun in the snow. Cannin loved it. He watched the other kiddos have a ball. It is still pretty cold out so he decided it was time to come in for a nap..LOL!!! Today will be alot of nothing except spending time with some good friends. Tomorrow we have planned to head out to the dirt bike track and watch Ashton, and then head across the street for a superbowl party! It doesn't get much better then this...

I really need to get better at this...It has been months since I have blogged, and I'm kindof sad because I have nothing documenting our days in between. To get on with this forever long post Cannin has grown like a weed. I am now happy to say I am a proud parent to a toddler!! Christmas was fantastic. We all were home for the holidays, and it was so sweet to spend Cannin's first Christmas with his grandparents and close relatives! We then had a birthday party for my little man. Of course it was sock monkey themed....Boy does my boy love his sock monkey! When Cannin and I decided it was time to come back to Dayton I planned a party for him here too! Here are a few of the pictures celebrating!

It looks like we will be cooped up for a few days. We have gotten alot of snow so I know we will have plenty of pictures to post.

Monday Madness

So mommy has been really busy with me, and she says that's why she hasn't posted anything in a long time. I think she just hasn't done it! I have so much to tell I don't know where to start!
I got to take my first trip to the pumpkin patch, and man did I have fun! I was into everything the animals, pumpkins, and people watching! I got to pick out my own pumpkin and bring it home! We haven't carved it yet that's next weekend Mommy says. We have spent alot of time with the Winter family because mommy says we will be moving soon, and she is going to miss her friends! Here is Uncle Justin being Uncle Justin! He makes me laugh so hard! Here are all the kiddos that went with us! We had so much fun. Here is Aunt Amy talking to me on the hayride back to the car! Here is Mommy and Daddy and Me. There was this giant pumpkin and I wanted to play on it so bad, but the people said George could only be touched! Yesterday we stayed home because I didn't feel good I think all my teeth are wanting to come in all at the same time and boy do they hurt! So Daddy and I watched the cowboys game...
Eventhough they lost I think today will be a good day! Mommy and I are off to see what kindof trouble we can find! Have a great day!

Labor Day!

It has been one crazy week around here! We had a suprise visit from my mom, Wee, and the girls! I haven't been able to upload any pictures yet, so the next post will have tons. It was a quick trip for them, but we had a blast. We went the the apple orchard (we didn't get to pick any because it's not season yet), but it was fun to go and see what all they had in their market! And like any trip we ventured to the Winter house and played some cornhole. Now I am here with Amy helping out with 3 babies and a 4 year old! We are having a blast! This week will be nothing but playdates. Have a great day!

Cannin and I had an eventful morning...I got up not feeling well and with a terrible headache! I figured most of the day would be spent around the house just resting, and watching Can but not getting to close just incase...I felt like I had been beat with a stick. Well after a bloody nose my son gave me I had enough. We had to get out of the house. We ventured to our favorite store...AWWWW!!!!! This is the best place for retail therapy. You can browse at all the clothes, bedding, and alot of stuff I wish I could afford. LOL. But I did find Cannin a little something he has been needing.His very own BIG BOY SEAT! He loves it I hate it...not the seat just the fact that he already needs one. :( I thought I was going to tear up taking out his infant carrier and base...but life goes on and those babies grow up! So when we get home there is a box at our front door! Thanks Grammie,Grumpies, and Uncle Jar-Jar. It of course was full of clothes and toys for Cannin, but that's ok because when you show him his new stuff his face just lights up!

But we are sorry Grammie...Cannin wanted to play with the box more than anything!

Almost Fall!

The weather here today would make you think it's fall around here! It never got over 70 degrees and was absolutely perfect. The sun was shining and there was a light breeze.
We didn't do much this weekend except spend some time with friends! Casey and the kids came in, and Danielle and Emilia came to visit too. We had some delicious food...thanks Amy and just spent the rest of the night catching up! We are trying to plan some fun things to do every month since we will all be going our seperate ways soon! :( I am so excited for Sept and Oct because I think almost every weekend we have something we would like to try and do!

Cannin is quite the ham lately. Everytime he sees a camera this is his new smile...HA!

He just cracks me up. It's something new everyday! Still no teeth or hair, but we are working on it. :) I can't believe he is almost 8 months old. Time surely does fly. I just thank God everyday I was blessed with such a precious and healthy baby boy! Have a good one!

So today was pretty blah! I was exhausted only after being up for a hour because Cannin was into everything! I was so excited for him to grow up fast, but now I wish he was still a newborn. He loves to eat, and if you saw his "little" thighs you would gather this. Today I got him playing in his jello though instead of trying to eat it. Usually anything he can pick up it goes directly to the mouth, but not this he would rather squish it between his fingers and make a huge mess...HA! My mom loves the videos so expect more of those, but what is a post without pictures...Here is my little stinker!

I wanted to do a short post tonight! We didn't make it to the metropark today like we had planned, but that's ok maybe next weekend! We are trying to keep stuff planned with our friends around here since we will be moving soon! Here is a video I took of Cannin tonight scooting...the quality is not very good, but I haven't used this little camera in forever so hopefully they will get better! It was a gorgeous day here...never got over 70. We had dinner with the Winter family at Buffalo Wild Wings! YUM! and then we came home to do a little yardwork! Hope you enjoy the video...!

There's not much to report these days! Dustin has had to work nights because of the ORI so I have spent alot of time with Amy and the boys! I've had a good time. I got to catch up on my scrapbooking, and just the latest gossip! LOL...Cannin has been such a good boy. I was kindof nervous being all alone with him while Dad was working late, but he has done so well! No more fighting when it's time for bed we just rock and he goes right to sleep! We spent most of the afternoon in the ER with an infected blister. It was really gross, and I didn't want it to be a spider bite or even staph infection. All is well he got some medicine to kill the infection, and the Dr. was really sweet. She drained it and tried her hardest to not hurt him! I'm really proud of myself because I usually don't do these kind of things alone. But I did! I think I need a suprise just like he got! HA.... Hopefully I'll have some pictures to post later on in the day! Have a great one!

Crazy

It has been one crazy week around here! That explains for no blogs...This weekend was Dustin's birthday. My parents came and suprised him on Wednesday! He was so shocked...He has always given mom a hard time about not being here on his birthday! We spent alot of time just hanging out. We went to the Winter home and ate ate ate! The boys made Dustin the sweetest cards! We played cornhole! Dad had never played before, and when I talked to him this morning he was making a set of boards! LOL Cannin decided he was going to start scooting around on Sunday, and now there is no stopping the boy! This is the first time we have all been together since Cannin was born so we figured a picture wouldn't hurt! It turned out to be a fabulous weekend! I am so glad Mom and Dad got to come and share this time with us! Let's hope this time passes fast till we see them again! Thanks again to Justin and Amy for having us over! Dad and Dustin playing cornhole!

So this is going to be short and sweet tonight! Nothing much to report from the homestead! Cannin has been exceptionally cranky because his teeth are almost through! Praise the Lord! This has been a long and drawn out thing for him and I know it hurts really bad! Here is a new picture of my love bug...thanks Amy I LOVE it!
My parents are coming tomorrow to suprise Dustin for his birthday! This has been the hardest secret to not let out! I'm so excited it's been about 2 months since we have seen them, and Can has changed so much since we left Texas! We have a fun filled weekend planned! Hope you have a great one!

Finally Friday!

Yesterday was just a lazy afternoon! Cannin and I stayed home and waited for Dustin to get off of work! I love to watch these 2 when he gets home. Cannin's face just lights up when he sees him drive up. He knows when he is late too! He threw the biggest fit the other day when dad was late. HA! We grilled steaks and baked potatoes last night, and they were so good! Today

we know dad has to work late because he is practicing playing G.I Joe for next weeks exercise so we are going to spend some time playing with Phoenix and the boys at Aunt Amy's today! Here is my little Champ ready to go!Cannin is still eating very well! We haven't had anymore tummy issues, and he is now eating the meals! YUCK! He loves them though. I guess 6 months is the magic age because he is a totally different kid! He is the easiest thing to ever take care of. Well we hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Hanging Out!

This past week we had some visitors come and stay with us! Casey and the kids came from Marysville for a mini-vacation! I hope they had a blast because we sure did! With 4 kids there was never a dull moment :) Cannin loved having the girls here he never took his eye off of them. Us ladies went shopping where we met up with Danielle and Emilia! Friday Amy and her parents made it home to Ohio so we went and spent some time visiting with them! Amy's mom made fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, and fresh greenbeans! It was delicious! Thanks Grandma Cindy! Cannin and Makenna thought they needed popcicles because it was so hot out! Here they are enjoying them!Cannin met a new pal this weekend too! He is exactly a month older than him and they played so well together! This is him and Phoenix. He is a doll. Amy watches him now while his mom goes to school so I'm sure there will be some playgroups! Keigan and Cannin had a tons of fun this week just loungin around. Keigan decided to roll over for the first time, have cereal from a spoon, and sit in a highchair and bumpo! He was full of many firsts! The picture at the top is one we took this weekend of all the kiddos except Emilia she is sick! I just thought I would share!

Another day of nothing much! Cannin and I stayed inside most of the day. It is so sunny here right now, and I would love to take him outside but we have NO shade. So we played and watched a little Baby Einstein. We started out the day with a new breakfast! We tried the yo-baby yogurt, and he loved it. It didn't seem to hurt his tummy at all! YAY!!! We are trying some different foods for him that don't hurt his tummy so far so good! Here is Cannin's new walker. He scoots along on the kitchen floor mainly backwards, but you gotta start somewhere. Ryan decided she wanted to play with Cannin too. He watches every move and just laughs at her.Cannin loves to sit up in his highchair for dinner. Here he is eating some cereal with Daddy.
Then it was bathtime. I think this is his favorite part of the day. He is going to be my little fish. He just splashes and playes with his ducks. Hope everyone has a great day!

Super Sunday~

This weekend we spent time with some friends up the street! We had a cookout and played games. It was nice to get out of the house for a while! Cannin is great almost crawling...trying to push up to walk. I sit here listening to him with the hickups and he is not too happy about them! Friday Aunt Amy and the boys come back to Ohio with her parents and we can't wait! We are so excited to see them! I am going to fix them some dinner Friday since they will be driving in...Amy tell your dad biscuits will be included! LOL Have a great day!

Now that Cannin is 6 months old it was time for new family pictures! We had a blast
watching this little ham! The camera came out and so did the hugest grin ever. There is a picture hanging in the place I have loved ever since Cannin was a newborn, and yesterday because he is able to sit up they did it for me! I love that fish! There were so many to choose from that were really good, and of course it was so hard. I managed though and didn't even spend a small fortune! Other than that there was nothing fabulous about our day! I thank God everyday though because eventhough we didn't have anything special that happened. Everyday is special to us because of that little boy, and we try to make the most of it even if we stay in our pajamas all day long.

Cannin is napping so I figured I would sneak in a line or 2! It finally stopped raining, and I am waiting on him to wake up so we can have some retail therapy! I have a gift certificate on the way to have family pictures done so I think we all need new outfits for that! Hopefully by the end of the week I will have some posted! Last night Dustin and I went out to dinner at the Olive Garden...so yummy! There is really nothing more going on around here...I am always busy chasing after this little guy! but hey it's part of the job, and I love it! He has done very well with his cup! I can't believe how big he has gotten. He does so much now and is at the perfect playing age! Hopefully we will find some good deals, but we are off to shop till we drop!

It was one of those days where Cannin and I never left the house. Which means we didn't get dressed. We sayed in our jammies all day! Boy did we have a blast. Cannin hasn't been sleeping well again at night, so it was nice to just relax. We played and watched movies. He is still in love with baby einstein, but we have been trying some Disney movies too! (Those are my favorite.) Other than this there is not much to report from the home front! The weather has been fabulous...very breezy not over 80 def not like Texas heat that I'm so used to! You can actually walk outside and are still be able to breathe. ha!Here is Cannin after breakfast! He decided he wanted to try and feed himself. You see it didn't work out very well! So he has decided he doesn't want to be a baby anymore I swear. You can't hold him unless you are standing, he would rather lay in the floor and play, he gets so upset if he can't figure something out, or you take something away from him. He is definately all -boy!

Cannin loves when Daddy comes home. He gets so excited so I grabbed a picture of them before he went to change! It is so sweet to see them together. I just laugh in between the scares. I say scares because these 2 rough house like no other already. I walked into the house yesterday to witness this! Oh my did momma almost fall over! I know he is okay, but to me he is still a little baby and to young for this! I look forward to whatever else I'm in store for with these 2! Have a blessed day!

Sleepy Monday...

Today was one of the hardest days I have had in along time. Cannin didn't want to sleep, and when he did finally give it up he whined all night! Which means when babies don't sleep neither do mommies! But that's ok...We made it just fine just a little slower than normal. ha! These past few days have been some troubled ones. Cannin had been really sick, not eating, and just flat out not feeling good. I started to get really concerned when this child of mine doesn't want to eat. So not like him. I walked away with an answer from the dr. I wasn't very pleased with..."Oh I'm sorry...wish I could tell you what was wrong with him." ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Few days later I bypassed the base hospital and took him straight to Children's E.R. this was the worst thing in the world...No one knew why he was so sick...He had blood work done,x-rays of his tummy, and a head c-t. Talk about one scared momma....I cried more than he did. He was such the trooper! I can't tell you how happy I am to say after all that he was diagnoised with acid reflux! I mean really we went through all that for acid reflux, but in another sense I am so happy that's all it is, and God truely answered our prayers! I prayed so hard for this little one and for him to be ill just breaks my heart! Here is Cannin after all the test and finally home with his owies!

For being so good Mommy took him, Ashton, and Owen to meet with Casey, Danielle, and their little ones to Chuck E. Cheese. He loved looking at that big mouse! I will have more pictures to post of that trip tomorrow!

Housesitting...

This weekend we are house and pet sitting for the Winter's while they venture off to Indiana to see their family! Nothing much to report here. We think we got Cannin finally squared away on his meds he will need, and he is feeling much better. He had a dr. appt. Friday and they said everything looks great he is progressing ahead of schedule and is right on time with his growth! He almosts weighs enough to be in a big boy seat that's front facing... He will love it because he hates the car and hopefully seeing us will help. I am just trying to find the right one now! We got a big box from Grammie, Grumpies, and Uncle Jar filled with tons of goodies....mainly clothes for my little guy, but mommy and daddy got a little suprise too! Sunny Summer Days!

This weekend we went to the Newport Aquarium with the Winter family! Cannin loved it! You could tell when he spotted something his little face just lit up! We are trying to hit the fun "hot spots" around the area before we move back to Texas...that way Cannin can say he once lived there, and seen all the attractions!We also had some great German food that was right around the corner from the river! It was fantastic. The guys had a better time than the rest of us there I think because of the dark beer! :)

Here are a few pictures I have been playing around with on a new photo editor I got! I just love them! His big blue eyes just melt my heart! And his little toes...what can I say I LOVE baby feet!

Today was a whole lot of nothing for Cannin and I...except our trip to the grocery store! That is one thing I could have went without doing, but it had to be done and I guess it was good to get out of the house! Other than this I finished up cleaning, and we just relaxed trying to recoop from all the fun we had this weekend! Cannin has decided he wanted to sit up so here he is! It is so cute because he gets so tickeled then falls over. My guess is he is so proud of himself and this smile says so....As mimi would say he's smilin all over himself!

Let me start by saying we had a fabulous 4th of July weekend! We started out Friday night at the vandalia rec center where we listened to live bands and watched fireworks! They were awesome. Here are a few pictures at the rec center! Here are Cannin and I talkin' about how loud it was gonna be, but if he got to scared momma would take him to the car! But we didn't have to worry about that because he slept through the show!Friday night we stayed at our friends house since it was so late when we got in and all the kids were out like little lights! It started raining Saturday so it was kindof a bummer, but it cleared up and we were able to set off a few fireworks for the kids! They loved the sparklers and the pop its! We would catch them throwing those things at each other's feet! Here is the rest of the clan! Makenna, Owen, Ashton, and Tessa

Here are Dustin, Cannin, and I with his first sparkler! He was so interested in them....He watched everywhere it went, and he never took his eyes of the kiddos when they had theirs!

Here are us ladies with our little boys! I just love these two girls! If I ever needed anything I know they are right there beside me! It is going to be a sad day when we have to leave because for the 3 years they have been a part of my family. They know exactly what to do when I am homesick and when I could use a hug because my mom isn't right up the road :( It's hard not having your family during the holidays, but these girls go out of their way to make you feel like you are right at home! My family and I appreciate everything you guys have done for us! Mom tells me all the time she is so glad I have met people like you to help me through the hard times and to put a little ease on her heart knowing we are taking care of!

WOW....It has been forever since I have had time to post, or even read the blogs I follow. I am sorry to my few readers that there haven't been any new pictures of my growing baby boy! To start with we had a great time at Grammie and Grumpies. So much fun we didn't want to leave, but Daddy kept saying please come home! Soon we will be living there and not have to worry about when we will see them next!

He has learned so many new tricks that everyday I wake up wondering what he is going to amaze me with today! He now weighs 17lbs and is 25 1/2 in long. He is eating cereal and baby food and doing very well with it. He tries his hardest to crawl, but for now he just scoots around. Here is my little guy sitting up all by himself. He gets so excited, and I just love this picture.

Cannin calls her everyday and now tells her bye bye! She is convinced he is telling her to come and get him. Here is Cannin at the Texas Rangers game where he got his clothes signed by pitcher Derek Holland! I was so excited we were able to get this because this is something Cannin can keep! I am going to make a shadowbox with the clothes, picture, and ticket!

We are off to a 4th of July bbq with Dustin's co-workers, and then over to the Winter household where Casey and the kids are coming for the weekend! Tonight we are going to listen to live music and see fireworks at the rec center! I am so excited that now I get to share all these special holidays with a little one. Today was an absolute gorgeous day! The weather was perfect, the sun was shining, but all my little one did was cry. He had his 4 month shots today and has not been a happy camper since! His first round at 2 months he had no problems not even fussy, but boy did we pay for it today! He weighed in at 15 lbs 6oz. My little guy isn't quite so little anymore. Still no hair, and was 23 inches long. I have come to think that even with this day being as miserable as it was for him the good always out number the bad! Here are some sweet pictures of my little guy from a few days ago!

He is teething so of course everything is in his mouth these days! Cannin got a card in the mail from Grammie and he loves his money...oh no! Not a good sign! Only 4 more days till Grammie and Aunt Wee are here visiting and we all can't wait.

Today hasn't started off the best...I didn't get much sleep because of all the storms last night. So Cannin and I napped today before Dr. Phil came on! I feel much better. Cannin is sleeping till around 6 in the mornings and I couldn't be happier! I thought today the weather was suppose to be icky, but I think it might be clearing up. Beautiful day for a long walk! We spent the evening with the Winter family. We had frito pies for dinner I know totally bad for you, but they have never had them so it was delicious! Tonight the season finale of Grey's is on and that will 2 hours uninterrupted "ME" time. I love that show! Now what is a post without a picture of my favorite little guy! So it's Monday again...back to doin housework. I usually don't mind cleaning, but I can not stand to put away my laundry. There is just something about once I get it clean and folded I don't wanna put it up. Silly I know. Cannin has begged me to go back to Texas with Grammie and Wee so I finally gave in. lol We will make the trip back with them and stay for a few weeks. I am so excited. I am ready for that hot Texas sun, swimming, and getting a fabulous tan...oh and seeing the family while I'm there. I had the best Mother's Day ever. I could have cried tears of joy all day knowing the Lord blessed me with a precious baby to care for! I prayed for that day so much, and I am truely blessed. Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend with their loved ones as we did!

Happy Mother's day to all! We had a fabulous weekend spending time with friends that we call extended family! Dustin was off Friday so we spent time just the 3 of us. Then as usual we headed to the Winter home to spend soe quality time with the family. Casey and her kids came in and Danielle joined us for a bbq. We also had Amy's neighbors join us! It was a great time. We can't wait for the Winfields to welcome their little girl to the world, and we will have one more baby to add to the group!

It has finally stopped raining! I am so excited to see the sun. Cannin is napping so I am going to take full advantage of this time. I have cleaned my house so much I need a break! I am looking for some artsy thing to do...I'm so bored. I think I want to attempt to make t-shirts with cute designs! I will post some when and if I ever get around to it. I got an early Mother's Day gift and I LOVE IT....I got a new Nikon camera with extra lense...I have gone picture happy :) I can't wait to use it at a function instead of just snapshots! Thank you Dustin and Cannin! Mommy is extremely happy!

Here is Cannin after dinner last night! Can't you tell. He loves his cereal. He is such a happy baby and I praise the Lord for that! I didn't think I could handle an unhappy baby all the time. I hardly ever see this child without a smile and he NEVER cries....:)

Sick baby

I haven't posted in a few days because I have been taking care of my sick baby! We all thought Cannin was teething and he is, but we knew something else was going on with it! I took him to Children's Medical emergency room and found out my poor little one has double inner ear infections :( I was relieved it was something simple but it broke my heart to see him lying there in his own little hospital gown! He feels much better though! He has started antibiotics and in a few days should be as good as new! Here is Cannin just relaxing without his clothes. This is his favorite thing to do! He hates clothes he hates when we put them on him. He loves coming out of the bath and being wrapped in a towel he would stay like that forever if we would let him! but Grammie sends him to many cute outfits to not wear clothes!
We are trying to decide when we are going back to Texas for a visit with his Grumpies and Uncle Jarren! Grammie will be there too but we are gonna see her in like 2 weeks :) YEA for those grandparents...I am looking forward to a LONG nap! lol

This onesie says it all! My precious little boy you were worth every ache, pain, tear, poke, sick morning, and my last month on bed rest! You are my everything Cannin Blake, and Mommy wants you to know if it's in my power you will never endure any hurt or pain! I will take it all away. Right now Cannin is napping and I read these blogs about these poor babies, and I can not express my love for him. I could not imagine being in their shoes watching their little ones slip farther away from them. So Cannin and I are praying for Baby Kayleigh, and praising because Stellan went home!

It has been a few days since I have last blogged, and I can't stand it! I have been so busy. Cannin is growing like a weed. He ate his first cereal from a spoon today eventhough I didn't want him too...only because this means he is growing up faster than I realize. We had a great weekend relaxing by the pool and another milestone for Cannie...he sat up in his stroller like a big boy :( I am so glad he is progressing like he should but man does it tug on my heart strings. Here are Cannin and Daddy having a conversation and laughing. I love these little moments when I catch them two doing things like this!

Yesterday the Sullivans welcomed their baby boy to the family. Amy and I made a roadtrip to Dublin to see that precious little guy! I can't wait till Casey brings him and the girls down here so I can see them again! Here is Keigan and I last night at the hospital.

We also got Cannin his jumper yesterday! It is too stinkin cute! He loves it...His legs are still a little short to reach but he does his best! I really don't have a good title for today because we did nothing! It is still raining on and off all the time...I'm ready for this storm to pass! When Dustin got home we did go walk around the mall that was fun, but I was ready to get Cannin home because we forgot his pappy! I was so nervous our entire trip because I didn't have an extra on me either they are in his other bag!

Rain, Rain, Rain

It's raining outside and really nasty. I wanted to go out today and walk or at least go walk around the mall. JC Pennys is having a fantastic sale, but I just hate dragging poor Cannin along in the rain! I really need to be cleaning this house, but again just not motivated to do it!

Here is Cannin yesterday at Amy and Justin's. I just love this picture. He is growing up into a little boy, and it is just breaking my heart! Don't get me wrong I can't wait for him to grow up so I can tell more about his personality, watch him walk, and have a conversation with him, but I would keep him this size forever! His poor little life started out rough, but he has become the best baby! He wakes up in a good mood and stays in one unless he's hungry or sleepy. Mommy has spoiled him to rocking every night before bed and no one can do it like she can! He will cry and cry. I love it though that is a special time for both of us while unwinding from the day!

Weekend

This has been a fabulous weekend! I started working at a salon, and Cannin got to stay with his Aunt Amy and Daddy. I missed him like crazy but it was also good for the both of us to spend some time apart. Today I did Amy's hair and it looks great! I'm so glad she loves it. Cannin is growing like a weed. He will go next month for his shots and check-up. I'm already dreading it.

It's Monday!

Happy Easter! I know it's a day late...but I'm a day behind with coming in from Indiana. We had a blast! We got an offical tour of Kentland from Amy and the boys! Cannin had his picture made in front of the cannon on the square and everything! I love this little smirk he has! Reminds me of his Grumpies and Uncle Jar-Jar.

Cannin was so tired this is what he did after all the fun we had this week...Just precious.

He had 2 egg hunts one at Cindy and Bill's and one at the courthouse up town. There is so much candy I can't believe it. And oh my did the Easter Bunny find our house. Cannin got so much it was unreal...I'm afraid of what Christmas will bring....(Grammie)

Ashton was such a helper he picked out all of Cannin's clothes for the week, and he loved to rub lotion on him! Here are the boys watching t.v. They did this alot this week.lol

We had so much fun..alot of laughs that brought tears...I needed it. I did nothing but play cards and relax all week...Hope everyone had a great Easter like we did!

Fun in Indiana

We are having a great time in Indiana. I am so glad Cannin and I decided to join Amy and the boys and make the roadtrip. It was a blast! I loved hearing "He's agravating me...He's touching me....He's looking at me" and Cannin laughing the whole time. Grandma Cindy and Pawpaw Bill have been very welcoming we feel we are a part of the family.

Last night we played cards while the boys were at their other grandmas. It was so quite except the roar of laughter you would hear from us adults. Dinner was excellent but I am really looking forward to tonights! Fried Chicken..(grandma style).

There is snow on the ground, but it's melting fast! YEA!!! I want Easter weekend to be beautiful. I am so ready to have my little one's first egg hunt, and for him to see what the Easter bunny brought him!

Cannin wants to shout out to his Grammie for her to get to Ohio ASAP!! He says he misses her like crazy and wants to see her. Oh and I need some momma time too~

Indiana Here We Come

So the title speaks for its self. Cannin and I will venture out of Ohio with Amy and the boys to spend a week in Indiana! I am beyond excited. We will be staying with her parents so watch out Cindy and Bill here we come!!! I will have tons of pictures to post! We are still begging Grammie to come see us! We miss her bunches, but we know she has to work. Bc we know Grumpies just sits at home and doesn't do his drawings right Grammie LOL....

Cannin is 11 weeks old today my where has time gone! I have decided to post updates about him as he gets older. I am not very good about keeping up with scrapbooking. Lord knows I love to do it but yeah! This could be why Amy is doing it for me> THANK YOU!!!!

-You are sleeping better at night! You only wake up unless you have a tummy ache or to eat!

-You are still in a size 1 diaper. Mommy doesn't want you to grow.

- You HATE tummy time, but you can lift that head up high!

-You have learned to lay an enertain yourself somewhat.

-You LOVE your bouncy seat and swing. We use these daily and for hours.

-You love to stare at the puppies, and they love to give you kisses!

On another note we have one more year left in the military and then we will be moving back to Texas. I can't wait. I am so ready to be around my friends and family. I hate missing holidays and birthdays and pretty much everything. It's hard to hear everyone having a good time when we are here by ourselves. Don't get me wrong we have met amazing people and I will be sad to leave them. But I feel where I am at right now in my life I just need my family!

I have been reading alot of blogs lately about sick babies, babies that have went to heaven, and families that can't have children. My heart screams for you! Now having Cannin I couldn't imagine my life without him. I was told I would never have children. I am going to post real fast as Cannin cat naps in my arms! Oh how I love this feeling. This weekend was a blast. The shower went fantastic and the girls got alot of cute stuff.

I am so stoked The Hills starts again tonight. I LOVE reality tv. I'm a sucker for it. Cannin finally slept in his pack and play next to us last night. Praise God. I am thrilled he is sleeping better, and so are Dustin and I. Eventhough he slept last night this is what he was doing when he was suppose to be sleeping. This was at 10:30 last night! But how can you not look at this and smile!

Tomorrow Cannin will be 10 weeks...Man has it flown by! I can't wait till this weekend we are throwing a double baby shower for our friends Casey and Danielle..much fun! It has done nothing but rain today so we didn't get outta the house Canny and I stayed in and watched movies all day! Hopefully tomorrow will be better so we can get outta here!

Happy 2 months Cannin

I first want to start with Happy 2 months to my baby boy! He was 2 months old on Sunday! Man how time flies. I finally came back to Ohio...dang it, but I really missed Dustin! So all is well. Mom got to come back with me for her spring break and we had a blast! I was sick the last day, and there is nothing like having your momma there to take care of you!

Cannin had his 2 month shots yesterday. I think they hurt me more than they hurt him. He's been a bit cranky and a little fever nothing out of the ordinary! Thank God!

I had Cannin's Easter pictures made with the live bunnies and oh my goodness did they melt my heart..I could have easily spent $400.00, but Dustin was with me! LOL I will post that one closer to Easter.

Last night in Texas

So it's my last night in Texas, and I am sad but also ready to go home. I really miss my husband and I know he is missing Cannin like crazy! We had a really good visit with family last night in Gilmer. My cousin graduated from recruiting school and we had a get together for him! Tonight we are just gonna hang out at the house! We are still recooperating from all the trips to Dallas for Poppy Vern's surgery.

We had an update: he is well. He was suppose to come out of icu today, but his blood pressure has shot up again and until it is under control they are going to leave him in icu to watch it! Other than that he is doing great.

I still have to pack up all mine and Cannin's things before our flight tomorrow, but I'm really excited because it's moms spring break and she is going home with me! She just can't get enough!

what a long week

This has been one of the longest weeks and it's only Wednesday. Sunday we went to Canton and had a blast! It was great to walk around and look at all the vendors. Cannin went too, and he was a trooper! Since then we have been at the hospital everyday except for Monday. My grandfather has to have double bypass surgery. He hasn't had a scheduled time, so it keeps getting moved. He was suppose to go back yesterday at 11 and at 1 the Dr. came in and said there were 3 emergency baby cases to go before him. My heart goes out to those families! I pray these babies made it out okay.

So today he finally made it back and now we are just waiting he went in at 7:30, and we were just informed they are pumping the blood to start the surgery. I will keep updating as we are called.

Ticket home

I finally bought my ticket to go home today. :( I'm ready to see Dustin and let him see how much Cannin has grown, but we have had such a great time I just don't wanna leave....I need to be taking more pictures so we might have a little photo session tonight! :) I will post the some of the ones we take hopefully they will turn out really cute. I really want a new camera a BIG one that takes really good pictures.

Cannin has had a touch of a belly ache. Alot more that usual lately. Hopefully it will pass soon! He will be 6 weeks old tomorrow. I can't believe it.

My Auntie Brooke and I

Cannin was so excited to meet his Aunt Brooke this weekend. She has been really sick so she wanted to make sure she was completely better before coming around him. This is my my best friend from way back. We have known each other since the day she was born! She just got married and they are buying a house! I am so excited for her and Devon, and Cannin can't wait to have a best buddy just like her.

This little guy keeps me on my toes. He is growing so much and changes everyday. It's amazing. He is looking more like his Daddy with a little me thrown in! I wouldn't have it any other way.
Cannin and I went to watch Casey run at his track meet and he placed in both his events. Congrats Casey. We then got a call my Grandpa is in the hospital with congestive heart failure, so please keep our family in your prayers.

Sleepy baby

Finally Cannin is sleeping. I don't have many pictures of him like this since he never sleeps. Not that he's bad. This child requires no sleep! I was pretty happy to see him finally napping.

I'll have to say I was very surprised to walk in and find Cannin has found his thumb! It was so cute I couldn't make him stop. We are having a blast visiting family here in Texas. Cannin has finally met everyone. He is so spoiled. He doesn't want to lay down on his own he thinks he needs to be held every moment. But that's okay. I wouldn't have him any other way. I know Daddy is missing us and we miss him very much too. Cannin will be spoiled even more when we get home because he really won't put him down being away this long.

So we made it...HOORAY!~ I am so excited to have Cannin here for everyone to meet. I don't think we have slowed down at all... So this explains no blogs for a few days. Everyone loves my baby and I am can't take this smile off my face! Dustin misses us like crazy and we both miss him bunches too. So I am a little ready to go back. I would never want to leave if he was here with us.

Friday we have a girls shopping day planned, and let me tell you I need it. Thursday I am getting my hair done. I am taking complete advantage of this time for some much needed R&R.

Cannin is fabulous. I can't get him to stop growing. It's really sad now some of his clothes I'm having to put away forever because they don't fit anymore. Time really does fly. He will be a month old on Sunday. It doesn't seem that long ago he was still in my tummy! He spent alot of the day with daddy today since I was running errands! I love to watch these two together. It just melts my heart.

Hi guys....I need to get better about posting everyday, but half the time I just wanna sleep!! Let me start by saying whoever Dr. Brown is that invented those bottles...BLESS YOUR HEART! Cannin has no more colic at night....These have helped tremendously! and Gripe Water is a god send! So I'm only getting up every 3-4 hours now! I'm very happy.

I'm so excited to be going home only 6 more days till I can show off my baby boy to the rest of my family (those I like of course). I know Mom and Dad are thrilled to see their little one again, and I really can't wait to see my brother with him!

We have so much planned it's unreal.. Mom is taking off a few days and her sister is off so it's shopping shopping shopping! I have planned it just right too that it's Canton weekend when I'm there..Hooray! I love Canton! Cannin is staying with Grumpys and probably watching a race so I bet it's going to be an interesting day for them two!

I know they are both excited to show him off to their friends too! and so am I...We will both miss Daddy bunches but we will talk to him a bunch a times a day I'm sure....

So I was reading blogs and realized how long it had been since I posted one! Alot has happened and my stress level has been to the max! Cannin is great! Wanting to eat all the time and not quite as many belly aches. Last night we went all night without one! HOORAY! About 6 this morning it hit I can totally handle that. He's growing so much it amazes me...Everyday he looks so different! He goes tomorrow for his valentine's day pictures and I'm so excited. Finally the Weekend!

Today was absolutly perfect! I had to go to the grocery store which isn't always great, but I had so much fun listening to the people just ooooo and ahhhh over my baby boy! I was so afraid he was going to be fussy, need to be fed or changed right in the middle of my shopping, but he was great just looked around and slept the entire time never heard a peep from him! He's gonna be momma's little shopping buddy because Daddy never wants to go anymore...lol

We spent alot of time at Amy and Justin's again watching movies and hanging out! I am really going to miss them when they leave. We were also spending some time with Casey and the girls before they move this weekend :( I got my early Valentines Day present...thanks mom. I love my baby art!

Tonight is suppose to be Daddy's night so I can get some sleep but we'll see how that goes. I have been fighting a sinus infection since before I had Cannin, and I just can't seem to shake it! I hope it goes away soon! Everyone have a great weekend! and enjoy the superbowl!

Well....the weather here has been terrible nothing but snow...we have a good foot on the ground more, and I see more falling right now! Dustin has been off work for 2 days now, and I am saying a little prayer he goes tomorrow...lol. Not really it has been great having him here to help during the day it makes it easier on me to nap.

Cannin is getting so big it's amazing! I just can't believe the newborn clothes that were so big are starting to fit him! He is 2 weeks old today and it has gone so fast! I guess they really do grow up fast! I look forward to when he is big enough to do more stuff with, but then again I could keep him a baby forever!

He loves sleeping with Daddy and Uncle Justin while Mommy and Aunt Amy play cards. He has stolen all our hearts!

Michele tell Scarlet don't let that baby out when you are in Ok.....but I'm saying my prayer that she has a fast and healthy delivery!

Well it has been awhile..sorry! With a new one my time is deminishing! lol Cannin is 12 days old today and man has it flew by! He had his first dr appt. yesterday and checked out great! He now weighs 7lbs 7oz. and is 20 inches long! He didn't have to get shots so I was happy they didn't hurt my baby!

Grammy left this weekend and Daddy had to go back to work so we are trying to figure out a schedule that works for us.

As for our first day alone it was great i snuggled with him all day, didn't have to share him with anyone. We played and slept, and I actually got a little housework done....Not what I wanted to do but it felt good to get it done also!

Cannin Blake

Goodness...There are so many emotions coming with being a mom! We are proud to say that my baby boy finally made it into the world Jan. 15,2009 at 6:18 a.m. Cannin weighed 7lbs 4oz and was 19.9 inches long.
After about 33 hours of labor I was ready to see my son. It was really intense, and all the hustling around with the staff didn't help. I was exhausted! I was in a great deal of pain and trying to sign consent forms and breath all at the same time...not easy. Cannin had to be suctioned some and has a terrible bruise on the back of his head! This brought on jaundice. Today we had to take him to have another test and he he has to go back again on Tuesday. I wish they would quit poking my baby! We are on our third type of formula hoping he keeps some down. Otherwise he is great! Thank you to all for your thoughts and prayers!
We are a now happy and complete and wouldn't trade any of it for the world!

Couldn't find the time last night to post so thought I would this morning! Yesterday was great! Finally made my way to the grocery store, and stocked up before all our guests start arriving tomorrow. This made the husband really happy we now have some food! After dealing with all the people my neighbor and I decided to have dinner together and family game night with her husband and boys! These two little boys just make my day I never leave there without a smile on my face, and Ashton asking me when this baby is gonna get here bc he wants to play with him! We have truely been blessed with some great neighbors and I'm sad to see them move eventhough it's only 10 min away, but I am also very happy for them because everything is coming together!

Not much to report on baby...Lots of braxton hicks and NO sleep I have the worst sinus infection and there is nothing I can do for it...this has made for a few sleepless nights already, and he's not even here!

Lots of snow last night too! Hoping it stays clear today and tomorrow to pick up mom and dad in Columbus! Then off to the hospital at 8:00...Hoping they send me home and tell me to come back Wednesday morning! Either way I know that Dustin and I will be meeting our little one in just a few more days!

So today went really slow as another day passed till I meet my baby boy! Not as much movement because he knows his day is coming. I had my last nst yesterday, and he does not like mommy being hooked up to all those machines! I'm guessing he's gonna be like his daddy and grumpy and not liked to be messed with. YEA! We had our final outting just the 2 of us tonight. It was military appreciation night for the Dayton Bombers Hockey team and everyone got free tickets! Lots of fun and actually kindof sad in it's own way! I look forward to what the future holds but just the two of us have had so many fun adventures I'm kindof sad to see them end! No more spur of the moment trips to wal mart at midnight because neither of us could sleep and just wanted something to do!

So with much to do before Tuesday, but not knowing what to do I guess I will finish

*cleaning as much as I can

* packing and unpacking bag to make sure everything is there

* making sure there is enough of all the little things for our guests

all without being on my feet too much!

Oh and watching the weather making sure mom and dad can make it in....

Just pray he doesn't want to come before Tuesday because tomorrow is a full moon!!!! lol

Boy oh Boy

So I heard about this from my mom and thought it would be a good idea since my family and I live so far apart for now, and I can report daily about the baby! Dustin and I are expecting our first baby boy, Cannin Blake, in just a matter of days. No one ever tells you how overwhelming it can become! We have had our ups and downs with this baby, and I just can't wait to hold him in my arms.

I'll start at the beginning....I was getting ready to go to Texas for the summer when I found out I was expecting! We weren't gonna tell anyone till we were both there together and face to face with my family. But it didn't happen that way I cried and cried until I shoved the phone to Dustin and made him tell my mom bc all I could do was still cry! Everyone was thrilled and I couldn't believe after being told I would never have children my prayer had been answered. I guess that's just how God works!

After my trip we went to the dr. and everything was great no problems just really sick all the time. I finished school Oct. 15 and am now a licensed cosmetologist in the state of ohio! Dustin is serving in the Air Force so that's what takes us so far away for the time being...Me I hate it and can't wait to move back!

After making through 3/4's of my pregnancy I was diagnoised with preeclampisa and put on moderate bedrest...KILLING ME. I'm not the type of person to lay around and do nothing, but all in all I get to meet my precious baby boy 3 weeks early! So I'm not gonna complain. I had two amazing showers and got everything we could have asked for...Thank you to all...Grammie has bought and bought until Grumpy's is gonna have to get a second job! lol. Let's say this baby will never do without.

I can't wait for my parents to be here mom just left last week, but shes thrilled to see me again so soon! Dad is not looking forward to the cold but it will be his first time here, and who couldn't be excited about meeting their first grandson! Jarren has to work but I know his time will come to meet his nephew I'm just scared of what he will teach him! lol.
